Sony owns Until Dawn, and I don't see them paying the actors all over again after this amount of time just to try and get a few more million copies sold (if they're lucky) on PC. I 100% agree with you on everything else, though. So far, nothing has managed to see the numbers Until Dawn did (though they finally had another hit with House of Ashes), hence why they went back to the slasher drawing board with this title. Furthermore, Supermassive has been trying to recapture that lighting-in-a-bottle success themselves with Their Dark Pictures Anthology. So successful, in fact, that Sony attempted to capitalize on it by having Supermassive make multiple games in the same universe for their PSVR (The Inpatient, Rush of Blood). Sony owns it not supermassive and it didn't do wellīy all accounts, Until Dawn was a success.
